Believing in God's Promise of Revival
Hi dear brothers and sisters, the most recent prayer meeting in church on Friday evening was in one word ‘electrifying’ as God’s presence was very tangible and I believe this is only the beginning of what is to come for this church and her congregation. I would like to not only share what I received but also to reaffirm SP’s word and sensing on the coming revival for RAC.
We were worshipping the Lord and His presence was very strong. I could feel the atmosphere was thick with His presence and it had a weight to it. During worship and especially when we sung ‘Holy Spirit you are welcome here’, I kept hearing this nursery song. The lyrics are ‘rain is falling down/ rain is falling down/ pitter patter/ pitter patter/ rain is falling down’. The song was on loop repeat in my ears and I knew strongly in my spirit that this refers to the coming revival that is going to fall here in this church.
Soon after I saw a huge silver grey cloud. It was heavily pregnant with rain and I knew that rain is going to pour out from that cloud any time. I received the word on three types of rain including this revival rain I’m sensing from this vision. The first rain to fall is the Purification rain which begets us to consecrate ourselves before true revival can begin. The following verses came to me from Psalms 24:3-4 – ‘Who may ascend the hill of the Lord ? Who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart; who has not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.’ The second is the Revival rain that would come when we intentionally and continuously set ourselves apart for Him. The third is the Latter rain which would bring about the outpouring of the Holy Spirit and the gifts of the Holy Spirit. After which I heard the word ‘blossom’ and I saw the heavy cloud raining down on the ground and greenery, forestry, roots and buttresses started to form and cover the ground fully. I also saw thick fog and mist surrounding the cloud and atmosphere. At this point, I kept on smelling dampness, mist and dew. The spiritual atmosphere in the church on Friday night was moist and wet; drenched in His presence.
I would like to reaffirm what Mavis shared regarding a sweet perfume that she smelt during the meeting. When she shared, I could smell it was emanating from the space in between where she and SP stood. When we went back to worshipping after the testimony sharing, I could smell the sweet perfume wafting in and out the first three rows intermittently. I was sitting at the front third row corner on your right and it was truly a very lovely fragrance.
Thank you for your time and I hope my sharing would encourage us to continue to press in and intentionally pursue the Lord until we see the fruition of this promise of revival. — Ann
